This is my blog disclosure. First off, the opinions expressed on my blog are not necessarily mine and they certainly are not that of my employer.

I post what I see and read. Sometimes I give my opinion about those things. You may not agree with what I write. I have my opinion and you’re welcome to your own. Again, this is my blog. It’s not my responsibility to allow anyone who comes here an open forum to spread their opinion, ideology or commercial interests. I don’t make it a policy to muzzle anyone. But I don’t condone hate speech. I reserve the right to delete comments that I believe are meant to malign people because of their religion, ethnicity or gender. I’m also not responsible for the things other people write here.

I believe in transparency. When I represent an organization, group, company, solar system…whatever, I will point that out.

I accept limited advertising on my site. It helps me pay for the cost of hosting the site. I don’t get rich from it — trust me. Right now, the ads are served by Google Adsense and I have only limited control over what ads appear. If you are offended by an ad you see here, please contact me and I’ll make sure to pass along the complaint to Google.

Everything original that I write on this blog is my opinion. I try to represent facts as accurately as I’m able to. I also try to link to things so you can see, when possible, the sources of my posts. I am not responsible for broken links or for the content on those other sites.

I reserve all rights to my original content here. I sometimes post content from other sites, including photographs, in which case I try to ask permission and before you grab one of my images or any of my content please do me the courtesy of asking permission first.

I reserve the right to change this disclosure statement at anytime and without any warning. This is my website and I can pretty much do what I want here, with varying degrees of skill. For example, I stink at making okra, so don’t expect any brilliant recipes.
